15th August is the National Mourning Day of Bangladesh. On this fateful day in 1975, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members were brutally killed by a group of misguided and wrong headed army personnel, masterminded by the then commerce minister Khandokar Moshtak Ahmed and some other civil and military ambitious people. The day was observed by the Aichi Medical Group with due honour and solemnity. Speakers highlighted the life and activities of Bangabandhu and demanded  execution of punishment of the self-confessed killers. At the end of the discussion session, there was 'munajat', offered for the salvage of the departed souls of the martyrs of 15th August.
